Co-CEO Gerdo Aquino on Resilient Placemaking

On Thursday, September 2, SWA Co-CEO Gerdo Aquino will deliver a keynote titled “Reimagining the Public Realm: Resilient Placemaking” at the  2021 Planning Conference, to be held in Miami, Florida.

The event, expected to draw a crowd of 500 students, land use attorneys, landscape architects, and elected officials, is hosted by the American Planning Association’s Florida chapter and is themed around the idea of “Savoring Diversity” – a topic on which thoughtful planning and design have much to offer. Gerdo will deliver the lunchtime keynote address from 11:30 – 1:00 PM.
